I spent 35 years in Ontario courtrooms — and a good chunk of that time doing subwork and agency appearances. I know what it's like to scramble for coverage on short notice. I know what it's like to need a reliable agent and not know who to call. And I know what it's like to be the agent looking for work and having no centralized place to find it.

POA Court Agent is the platform I always thought should exist. A straightforward, organized marketplace where lawyers and paralegals who need Provincial Offences court coverage can connect with qualified agents ready to step in. No back-channel emails. No last-minute phone trees. Just a clean system that works for both sides.

My role here is simple — I'm the administrator and moderator. I don't take files. I don't give them away. I don't represent either side. I'm the referee, and my only job is to make sure this platform runs smoothly and that everyone using it has a good experience.

I hold an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London, England, and an LL.M. (Hons) from Osgoode Hall Law School. I'm also a licensed private investigator and the developer behind several legal technology platforms serving Ontario's legal community, including WeDraftIt, Tactical Trials, and Criminal Set Dates.
