How it works

01 Post or request. Agent says "I’m in court X on date Y", or counsel says "I need a TBST covered."
02 Agree on price. Either side names the number; the other accepts or counters.
03 Funds held. Card on file is charged on acceptance and held until disposition.
04 Court date. Documents unlock for the assigned agent. Calendar shows agent, court, courtroom, time only — never the client.
05 Disposition. Agent uploads the outcome; 90% releases to them, 10% platform fee.

Privilege isn’t an afterthought.

The public calendar shows the agent, the court, the courtroom, and the time. Nothing else. Client names live in a privileged field that only you and the agent you accept can see — and only after payment is held. Documents you upload don’t even exist on the public web; they’re served through a permission-checked Django view, not nginx.

We charge the requester’s card the moment the offer accepts. The money sits with the platform — not in agent limbo — until disposition is uploaded and confirmed. The agent gets 90%; we keep 10% for keeping the rails clean. Cancellations refund 100% to the card on file.

Every agent in the directory has had their LSO licence number checked against the Law Society directory before they go live. The badge is gold for a reason — it means a human looked at the licence, not an algorithm. The number stays public on each profile so you can verify it yourself.
